Having the right trades in to do the work is vital in this room as EVERY detail in the room is obvious if something is out of line.
Plumber Pricing For the Renovation
When working out the quote for a bathroom or kitchen, , having the fixtures worked out with a clear floor plan will allow a plumber to give an accurate quote. They will know what sort of shower heads, if it is a free standing bath or where the tap placements are for the vanities as well as knowing what outlets are going to need moving and how far they are to be moved.

Plumbing Stages in the Renovation
Demolition
The first stage is the demolition, plumbers need to come in to disconnect and remove the tapware, toilets and valves. Outlets will need to be capped as well to prevent the waft of sewerage around your home.
Plumbers can also help if required to remove the bath and vanities. If you are keeping them to reuse, this needs to be done with care. (older style homes can keep the heritage features in a bathroom like a claw footed bath.)
The Rough In
This stage is once the room is stripped and ready to be renovated. Plumbers are typically the first ones back at this stage and this is when the position of the the connections is done.
This stage requires accuracy and this is where “lazy plumbers” mess up.
We double check or even tripe check that the measurements are correct. If we install a drain outlet that is not centered – your shower will be off balance or if the taps are in the wrong place, then the vanity will not be centered.
Your tiling will also be messed up if we do not get these accurately positioned.
The Fit off
The final stage of the the renovation with the trades is the fit off. All the flooring and tiling has being completed and this is when the plumbers will install the toilets, tap ware, shower heads, baths, sinks or vanities.
Sometimes we will install the towel rails as well – unless the are electrical – in that case the electrician will install these.
